A personal commitment.
A backyard you’ll love.

Meet Rene Saldana Rodrigues

Founder & CEO

Since founding L & R Pools Hardscape and Landscape LLC in 2012, Rene has helped Phoenix-area homeowners turn their backyard ideas into spaces they love.

His experience began in hardscape and landscaping in 2004. In 2010, he expanded into pool construction while working with established pool companies, building the knowledge that would shape his own business.

For Rene, every project starts with listening. Homeowners don’t need to have every detail figured out—just a few ideas about how they want to enjoy their space. He brings those needs together with practical guidance and creative design to help them see what’s possible.

Today, Rene remains personally involved, with most work performed by the company’s own crews. His approach centers on thoughtful planning, quality craftsmanship, and pride in the finished project.

His path also included an interest in nursing. After arriving in the United States in 2002, Rene earned his CNA certification in 2009 before committing full time to pools, hardscape, and landscaping in 2014. That experience reinforced the listening, patience, and care he brings to working with homeowners.

“What I enjoy most is seeing a homeowner’s happiness when the finished backyard turns out even better than they imagined. That’s what makes this work rewarding.”— Rene Saldana Rodrigues
